Dr. Olsen began his dental career in 1985 in northern Utah. He completed his undergraduate studies at Utah State University prior to receiving his degree of Doctorate of Dental Science from Northwestern University.

After visiting his sister in Davidson, he fell in love with the area. He thought this would be a great place to start a new practice. So, in 2005, he and his lovely wife, Missy moved to Huntersville to begin another chapter of their life.

He is an active member of The American Dental Association and The North Carolina Dental Association. His membership in these organizations, as well as his completion of several advanced cosmetic dentistry courses, has allowed him to remain current on the most beneficial and cutting edge dental treatments.

Dr. Olsen is well known by his patients for being a kind and considerate dentist. He cares for them with respect for their individual needs and concerns. Throughout his 25 years in the dental field, Dr. Olsen has developed a reputation for paying close attention to detail and providing patients with the highest quality care. His gentle and calm disposition ensures patients have an excellent experience when they visit the dental office.

Dr. Claire Kettle, DDS joined the Maple Springs Dental team in 2025. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Iowa State University. She then attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Dr. Kettle grew up on a farm just outside of DeWitt, Iowa. She and her husband recently moved to Charlotte after being drawn in by its lush greenery, the delicious food, and the genuine warmth and kindness of the people. During her free time, Dr. Kettle enjoys cooking (homemade pasta is her specialty), reading, playing card games (especially Euchre!), and playing pickleball and golf. She also loves exploring new parks and walking trails with her husband, Miller, and their two dogs.

Professionally, Dr. Kettle serves as an active member of the American Dental Association. She believes strongly in utilizing evidence-based dentistry to help craft beautiful, functional, healthy smiles. She is committed to delivering compassionate care by listening to patients to understand their unique, individualized needs and future goals. Dr. Fayez A. Khan, DDS joined the Maple Springs Dental team in 2019. Raised in Midlothian, Virginia, Dr. Khan graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University, he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 2014. Shortly after graduation, Dr. Khan began gathering experience in dentistry by working as an orthodontics assistant at VCU School of Dentistry. He then attended New York University College of Dentistry, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Dr. Khan relocated to North Carolina shortly after graduation and is proud to serve the Charlotte community. While quite the move coming from New York City, he is happy to be a little bit closer to his family and is joined by his wife, Nicole, who is also a dentist, and their mini goldendoodle, Hershey. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys traveling, hiking, football, playing video games, and trying out new restaurants that Charlotte constantly has to offer.

Dr. Khan is a motivated and charismatic general dentist that is committed to providing the highest standard of care to his patients. He prides himself on the quality and esthetics of his treatment as well as having honest and open communication with his patients. Dr. Khan feels it is his duty as a healthcare provider to educate his patients in oral hygiene for their overall health and values the opportunity to form strong doctor-patient relationships through an extraordinary level of comfort.

Dr. Patel was born and raised in Michigan alongside his three siblings. His parents immigrated to the United States from India to seek a better life for their children. His father and uncle partnered together in a chemical materials company supplying the Detroit auto industry for many years.

From a very young age Dr. Patel's own general dentist made a very positive impression on his life, influencing him to become interested in dentistry. Dr. Patel received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from The Ohio State University and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor. As one of the Top 5 Dental Schools in the country, while there Dr. Patel received excellent training and instruction on the most cutting edge technology available in the field. After dental school, Dr. Patel practiced in Arizona for several years as a general dentist in a nonprofit dental facility where he provided care to the underserved population. It was also in Arizona where Dr. Patel met his wife Jennifer, a Pennsylvania native, who was finishing her graduate work as a speech language pathologist. They were married in May of 2014 and had their first child, Asher in September of 2015. Dr. Patel is an avid sports enthusiast and Buckeye football fan. In their free time they enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors with their two dogs as well as having an appreciation for various culinary cuisines.

They relocated to North Carolina where Dr. Patel was offered a leadership role at a nonprofit clinic in Hendersonville. In 2016 he transitioned into Foothills Family Dentistry in Morganton. In 2020 Dr. Patel joined the team at Maple Springs Dental where he continues to care deeply for his patients and enjoys getting to know each one individually.
